Dave West is a composer, music producer, audio engineer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist from Seattle, Washington, USA.

After a number of years spent living, and working in Tokyo, Japan as an English lyricist under producer/lyricist, Tim Jensen, of internationally acclaimed Japanese composer, Kanno Yoko's, The Seatbelts (Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In The Shell), Dave began his career as a multi-media composer. Over the last decade he has contributed to a number of projects domestic and abroad.

In 2014, Dave began operating out of Seattle's world famous, London Bridge Studio (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Fleet Foxes), where he holds the position of House Audio Engineer, In-house Composer, and session pianist. 

Dave's most recent engineering projects include, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Downtown", Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto's score for "The Revenant," starring Leonardo Dicaprio, and Bungie's, "Destiny: The Taken King."
